1. PREVIOUS EVALUATION FOR HIRING VESSELS

Technical analysis of the vessels' operational and structural conditions regarding the cargo to be loaded. It is observed the type of vessel, the ship's hold conditions, the floor resistance, cranes and equipment in general and any other item that might not be suitable for the operation, focusing on the cargo security both during the cargo loading procedure and journey.

 
2. LOADING PROCEDURES SUPERVISION
Supervision of loading procedures, cargo plans discussion, stevedoring services and cargo lashing supervision, cargo conference for loading procedures.


3. OPERATIONAL SUPPORT, DOCUMENTS ELABORATION AND CREATION
The Seaside central office staff acts as a link between suppliers and clients, providing documents and information of each stage of the process. The information is delivered to the clients by final reports recorded in CDs, containing all the records of the client's cargo loading and unloading procedures.



4. RECEPTION, INSPECTION AND QUALITY CONTROL
Cargo reception for storing in the terminals and checking for loading process. Inspection and Quality Control of areas destined to the goods storage, packing and cargo general condition. Written and photographic reports of all damage incident, elaboration of graphics with statistic data about the operations and evaluation reports using the vendor-rating methodology.



5. SUPERVISION AND INSPECTION OF THE UNLOADING PROCESS OF RAW MATERIAL
Supervision and inspection of the unloading process and storage of raw materials: metallurgical coke, coal, fluorite and anthracite that are unloaded from the ships.


6. SUPERVISION AND CONTROL OF RAW MATERIAL SHIPMENT
Supervision and control of the whole raw materials shipment process in the wagons.


7. RAW MATERIALS PACKAGING - PILES, WAGONS AND TRUCKS
Some raw materials can't be exposed to the weather conditions because their quality might be modified, suffer considerable losses and pollute the environment. Due to these reasons, Seaside developed and patented some methods that consist in tarping piles, wagons and trucks, assuring the materials integrity and avoiding the environment contamination.

8. Raw material Protection – Piles and Wagons
Raw material cannot be exposed. Therefore, Seaside covers the materials that are storage outdoors in warehouses and into the wagons with a new technique that had been patented by the company in order to keep the material in good condition.
